About the role
NEXT product team is looking for a Frontend Developer to accelerate our product-led growth strategy - that is, a self-service model for users to sign up, use, share, and standardize on NEXT.
In this role, you'll:
develop the core foundation of a real-time collaborative web app
ship to production daily impacting the lives of real users
contribute improvements to open source projects that are at the core of NEXT’s web application
collaborate closely with UX to craft together a high-quality user experience & implementation
You will work with real data, interact with real users in some of the world's best known companies, and see the impact of your work in production every day. We love developers that analyze topics thoroughly, speak their mind, prefer teamwork, and welcome feedback.

What are we looking for
3+ years experience as a frontend software engineer
An understanding of:
Modern JavaScript (ES6+) and React (with hooks)
Asynchronous programming in JavaScript (promises, macro/micro tasks and the event loop, async/await, etc...)
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points for experience with Typescript, Material UI, Prosemirror, GraphQL

Coding test will take 1h at the time of your convenience (this step can be skipped if you have an outstanding open source repo)
Amaze your future colleagues in a 30 min discussion about your hackathon code. We'll need your code ~24h beforehand to prepare for a good discussion.
