YOUR MISSION

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Python and Django
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability
• Design and implement robust, scalable APIs
• Utilize AWS services for deploying and scaling web applications
• Optimize backend components for maximum speed and efficiency
• Ensure the security and data protection of applications
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to integrate backend services with frontend logic
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Python and Django
• Sound experience with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, and other backend technologies
• Experience in developing and managing RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in database technologies, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Initial experience with version control, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills paired with a pragmatic approach and the ability to think algorithmically
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration
• Work / residence permit for Germany (or the EU)
