By connecting buyers and sellers of scrap metal globally, we are enabling efficient trade of secondary metals and are driving the seamless flow of recycling material, essential for reducing CO2 emissions by up to 95% compared to primary metal production.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Engineer with a wide technical view to join our team and help us build innovative solutions for the scrap metal trading business.

The role is remote and candidates should have permission to reside and work in the European Union - no visa sponsorship is available.

Your mission

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into projects when appropriate.
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong backend development skills using languages like Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, and experience with frameworks like Express, Django, or Rails.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (huge plus!).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (huge plus!).
