About the role:

As an Auction Assistant & Analyst, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the entire process runs like clockwork. The responsibilities will encompass various aspects of dispatch management across our sales channels, including auctions and other selling platforms. From meticulously organising logistics to ensuring timely deliveries, our Auction Dispatch Assistant supports our Auction Co-Ordinator and Revenue Team, a team as a driving force behind the smooth execution of our operation.

Key goals and objectives:

• Attain proficiency in creating & distributing auction consignment notes per the auction schedule

• Compilation & interpretation of auction results - updating all revenue-related results & spreadsheets with the Auction Coordinator

• Show competency & develop communication relationships with production stakeholders in the business to deliver auction consignments on time & in the desired format

Key responsibilities:

• Generate and dispatch delivery notes to all our sales channels using Excel / Google Sheets and internal tools

• Assist with the preparation & delivery of stock via courier to ensure all deliveries are completed on time and to schedule

• Upload auction listings to various platforms

• Scan stock in preparation for delivery notes

• Upload and send images to sales channels for our items

• Take an active part in auction meetings and assist with auction planning

• Sort through auction returns, ensuring they are returned to the correct internal department

• Liaise with auctioneers when the auction coordinator is absent.

• Liaise with internal production departments to ensure smooth, timely delivery of auction lot targets.

Essential skills and experience:

• Computer literate and Excel / Google sheetsCompetent

• Interest in or knowledge of basic data analysis and a willingness to learn

• Organised and enthusiastic about planning, with high attention to detail

• Willingness to assist with some movement of stock around the warehouse

Desirable skills and nice to haves:

• Experience in a previous data processing/ data analysis role

• Interest in vintage items and antiques is encouraged.

• Knowledge/experience of online selling platforms
