About the role:
Vintage Cash Cow is looking for highly experienced and knowledgeable individuals to work within our exceptional marketplace production team. From specialist in metals, timekeeping, medals and toys, to name a few, you would join a team with decades of collective experience in the vintage industry. Every week the team processes thousands of vintage and antique items purchased by the company, curating pieces into ‘lots’ to be sold through auctions.

As the company grows and enters new markets, our growing teams will be supported in their personal development. You’ll get the unique opportunity to learn about our vintage products whilst working in a fun, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort large volumes of stock into categories.
• Work with multiple categories we deal in but have knowledge in Train's, Vintage Toys, Medals and Militaria.
• Using & developing your knowledge.
• Curate pieces into “lots” ready for sale through auctions & trade.
• Research unfamiliar items.
• Write listings with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy required for each separate platform to maximise customer appeal & revenue.
• Keep and maintain a safe working area; a clean, organised and tidy environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Be knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to handling and processing a range of vintage goods.
• Be positive with an upbeat attitude who enjoys rapid change.
• Be willing to learn about other vintage products that we handle.
• Be able to follow instructions and standard processes with high attention to detail.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Passionate about antiques and collectables.
• Willing to continuously developing your knowledge and skills
• Computer literate and able to write concise and accurate but compelling descriptions of products in a timely manner.
• Experience in listing, photographing products for online sales or auction house experience is an advantage but not essential.
